Domaine Aline Beauné officially began in 2018, when Aline took over her family vineyards in Montagny. Yet the roots of the estate go back to 1980, when her mother settled on the vines inherited from her grandfather and gradually expanded the family holdings.
After studying oenology, Aline spent 13 years working at Château de la Crée in Santenay, gaining strong technical experience and a deep understanding of both vineyard and cellar work. In 2018, she returned to her family land with a clear vision: to create wines that fully express the potential of these parcels.
The estate now covers 5.5 hectares, mainly in the appellation of Montagny, in the southern Côte Chalonnaise. This 100% white appellation is dedicated to Chardonnay, grown on marl and limestone soils that bring freshness, minerality, and precision to the wines.
Convinced that quality begins in the vineyard, Aline is transitioning the estate to organic farming and introducing biodynamic practices. Her approach is based on observation, patience, and respect for the plant. In the cellar, she works with restraint, aiming to preserve the purity of the fruit and the identity of each parcel.
The wines are vibrant, elegant, and finely textured — a promising expression of Montagny and a new chapter for the Beauné family.
