Écume Champagne is a family-owned, independent micro-producer based in Fleury-la-Rivière in the Vallée de la Marne. Founded in 2024 by Jean François Gamet as a personal micro négoce project alongside Champagne Gamet, Écume allows him to explore small scale, terroir-driven winemaking beyond the family domaine.
Working exclusively with organically farmed vineyards from trusted grower friends in villages such as Mardeuil and Chamery 1er Cru, production remains extremely limited, with only a few hundred bottles per cuvée. Vinification takes place in barrel or glass demijohn with native yeasts, full malolactic fermentation, very low SO2 additions, zero dosage, and no fining or filtration.
Écume represents a modern “Champagne de garage” philosophy: artisanal, precise, and highly expressive wines crafted in tiny quantities from exceptional fruit, emphasizing authenticity, terroir, and independence.
